Attorney Suzanne Boykin of Clarkesville, GA; repeat offender

The state of Georgia presented Suzanne M. Boykin with a law license in 1995 after she graduated from Georgia State University Law School.

The Georgia State Bar found Suzie guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, a client’s wife hired Suzie in a criminal matter. The client paid Suzie $600 in fees, and she agreed to file a Motion to Modify Sentence.

Although Suzie drafted the motion, she never filed it with the court. After the client’s wife discovered that the motion had not been filed one year later, she immediately fired Suzie.

As one would suspect, this wasn’t Suzie’s First bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. He previously received a complimentary admonition for engaging in a variety of misconduct.

As a consequence of her misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Georgia Supreme Court punished Suzie by gifting her with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. November 2015), Suzie practices with the Public Defender’s Office in Clarkesville, Georgia.
