Attorney Karineh Avanessian of Glendale, CA; moron, repeat offender

The state of California provided Karineh Avanessian with a law license in 1987 afters he graduated from the University of LaVerne Law School.

The California State Bar Court found Karineh guilty of the following misconduct.

Karineh’s 1^st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

• Failed to notify State Bar that she hired a paralegal who lost his law license following a criminal conviction
• Allowed the convicted attorney to appear in court at her direction
• Never advised the court or opposing counsel or arbitrator that convict was not entitled to practice law

As a consequence of her misconduct, the supporters for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Bar Court punished Karineh by gifting her with a complimentary 60-day suspension of her law license.

Karineh’s 2^nd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

• Allowed paralegal to engage in unauthorized practice of law
• Failed to respond to settlement offer before statute of limitations expired
• Failed to file lawsuit to protect client prior to tolling of statute of limitations
• Paralegal faxed fabricated summons and complaint to client to mislead her
• Client’s signature forged on settlement check
• Failed to properly supervise office staff
• Failed to provide competent representation (moron)
• Improperly split legal fees with non-attorney

As a consequence of her misconduct, the supporters for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Bar Court punished Karineh by gifting her with a complimentary 100-day suspension of her law license.

As we speak (ca. October 2015) Karineh practices at 500 Jackson Place in Glendale, California.
