Attorney R. John DeMoruelle of Kinder, LA; ethical leprechaun

The state of Louisiana presented R. John E. DeMoruelle with a law license in 1968 after he graduated from Loyola University Law School in New Orleans.

The Louisiana Attorney Disciplinary Board found Johnny guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to communicate with clients
• Failed to maintain accounting records
• Mismanaged client’s trust
• Failed to obtain court approval of fee as trustee

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Louisiana Supreme Court punished Johnny by gifting him with a complimentary 2-year suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. September 2015) Johnny practices at 809 Nielsen Road in Kinder, Louisiana.
