Today’s “IHOP (Flip-Flop)” Award Winner

This isn’t the first Award presented to Mitch. In the past, he has been the recipient of fourteen (14) Awards in various categories and/or the subject of one (1) opinion piece. Those awards and opinion piece are listed at the end of this article and can be viewed by going to the listed categories.

Mitch is another loser lawyer that decided to go into the second most ethical profession (used car salesman No. 1), politics. Over the past forty-one (41) years, Mitch has had his significant snout firmly implanted in the public trough. Apparently, no self-respecting law firm in the Louisville area was about to offer Mitch a good paying job.

Recently (late July 2015), Mitch fast-tracked a bill to defund Planned Parenthood because of a sham undercover video of a Planned Parenthood doctor discussing the donation of fetal tissue after an abortion. (Laura Basset, The Huffington Post)

In an obvious effort to toss a little red meat to the anti-abortionist crowd, Mitch’s bill to defund Planned Parenthood flies in the face of his 1993 vote in favor of lifting a ban on fetal tissue donations after abortions.

In a lame effort at levity, Mitch said:

• “I’ve not been a fan of funding them [Planned Parenthood] in the past and that remains my position.”

This is akin to Mitch saying he’s not a fan of the University of Louisville basketball despite purchasing two season tickets for 10 years.

Put simply, as Yogi Berra famously said, “I was for it before I was against it.”

It really is sad that this loser is in control of the United States Senate. I’m confident that Mitch will ultimately go down as the worst or one of the worst Senate leaders in the history of the U.S of A. Of course he’ll be accompanied by Speaker of the House John “The Bone” Boehner.

Congrats Mitch; keep up the good work! We should let everyone know of your amazing record as one of Americas Least Appreciated “Flip-Floppers”; you are far too humble.
