Attorney Gordon Liles of Ft. Madison, IA; lying loser

The state of Iowa presented Gordon M. Liles with a law license in 1974.

The Iowa Supreme Court Attorney Disciplinary Board found Matt guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Forged signature of witness to his signature on a client’s will
  • Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
  • Knowingly mad a false statement of fact or law to tribunal
  • Knowingly offered false evidence to trial court
  • Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation

The Iowa Supreme Court Attorney Disciplinary Board found Gordy guilty of the following misconduct.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the Cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Iowa Supreme Court punished Gordy by gifting him with a complimentary 60-day suspension of his law license.

Because Attorney Misfits in Iowa are held to a much lower standard of conduct, Gordy was never criminally prosecuted for forgery.

As we speak (ca. July 2015), Gordy practices at 717 Avenue E in Fort Madison, Iowa.
