Attorney Michael Adams of Des Moines; ethical dwarf

The state of Iowa presented Michael H. Adams with a law license in 1990 after he graduated from Drake University Law School.

The Iowa Supreme Court Attorney Disciplinary Board found Mike guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to communicate with client
• Neglected client matter entrusted to him
• Failed to advise client of court’s grant of declaratory judgment
• Failed to provide client with child support order

As a consequence of his misconduct, the Cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Iowa Supreme Court punished Mike by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. July 2015), Mike is employed as the Chief Public Defender for the Iowa Public Defender’s Offices at 401 East Court Avenue in Des Moines, Iowa.
