Attorney Matthew Pierce of Las Vegas; ethical goblin 

The state of Nevada presented Matthew Pierce with a law license in 1997 after he graduated from Drake University Law School.

The Nevada Disciplinary Board found Matty guilty of the following misconduct.

• Negligent handling of patent matters involving 21 clients
• Failed to communicate with client
• Failed to disclose fee arrangement with client
• Failed to file required documents with patent office on client’s behalf
• Engaged in a pattern of neglecting client matters
• Improperly split fees with invention promotion company
• Misconduct involved multiple offenses

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Nevada Supreme Court punished Matty by gifting him with a complimentary 2-year suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. May 2015), Matty practices at 3507 West Charleston Blvd in Las Vegas, Nevada.
