The state of Nevada presented Joseph A. Scalia with a law license in 1994 after he graduated from the University of Baltimore Law School.

The Nevada Disciplinary Board found Joey guilty of the following misconduct.

• Wrote check on insufficient fund account (rubber)
• Failed to provide competent representation (Moron)
• Failed to safeguard client property
• Failed to properly supervise office staff
• Failed to communicate with client
• Failed to terminate representation when required to do so

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Nevada Supreme Court punished Joey by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.
