Attorney Elaine Watson of Schertz, TX; serial offender

The state of Texas presented Elaine Watson with a law license in 1984 after she graduated from South Texas University Law School.

The District Grievance Committee found Elaine guilty of the following misconduct

  • Neglected probate case by failing to file application for six months
  • Failed to prepare for court hearing
  • Canceled hearing on morning it was to be held
  • Failed to ever secure future hearing date
  • Failed to return client phone calls
  • Failed to keep client informed of status of legal matter
  • Failed to with representation when required to so act
  • Failed to perform substantive work on client’s case

As one would suspect, this wasn’t Elaine’s First bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. She previously disciplined on three (3) occasions for engaging in a variety of misconduct.

As a consequence of her misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Texas Supreme Court punished Elaine by gifting her with a complimentary 90-day suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. May 2015), Elaine practices at 9900 Doeer Lane in Schertz, Texas.
