White House advisor Mat Staver: Today’s “Lunatic’ Award Winner

This isn’t the first Award presented to Matty. In the past, he has been the recipient of twenty-6 (26) Awards in various categories. Those awards are listed at the end of this article and can be viewed by going to the listed categories.

Matty is the chairman of the Religious Right Wing Loony legal group Liberty Counsel.

During a recent (ca. April 2020) appearance on the Tod Starnes Radio Comedy Show, Mat decided to spew forth additional garbage by making sham claims about Social Distancing to combat the Coronavirus pandemic.

In this instance, Matty decided to laughingly compare the Social Distancing as evidence of government sponsored religious persecution. Towards that end, Matty made the following absurd statements to be digested as red meat by his and Starnes’ Low I.Q. followers and supporter of The Great Leader.

I’ve never seen anything like this ever before, anything come close to this.”

“This is the most outrageous and, frankly, unbelievable situation I’ve ever seen with regards to the absolute disregard of the Constitution.”

Matty then goes about falsely and disgustingly comparing Social Distancing as comparable to how the Jews were treated during the reign of Hitler and the Nazis by stating the following.

• “So, it is absolutely—I mean, it’s a targeting.”
• “It is, you know, I don’t want to be too melodramatic, but I’m telling you what.’
• “You know, this happened before in history.”
• “We’ve seen people being targeted, that you are being targeted with a particular symbol that you have to wear.”
• “And then so you get targeted with your business, you get terminated from your job, and eventually you get ghettoized.”
• “And what we’re seeing here is the absolute targeting of Christians in churches to a level I’ve never even imagined would happen in America.”

So, here we have a right-wing Zealot and total Moron arguing that so-called Christians in America are being singled out for Social Distancing because they are Christians. Of course, anyone with an I.Q. in the high 90s or triple digits isn’t going to buy into this kind of outrageous hyperbole (BS).

And lastly, one can be assured that both Matty and Starnes are cheerfully using these falsehoods to drum up additional financial contributions so they can both continue to live high on the hog.
