Rev. Pat Robertson: Today’s “Screwball” Award Winner
Congratulations to….
Rev. Pat Robertson Today’s “Screwball” Award Winner
This isn’t the first Award presented to Patty. In the past he has been the recipient of seven (7) Awards in various categories and the subject of five (5) articles. Those awards and articles are listed at the end of this article and can be viewed by going to the listed categories.
During a recent airing (9/11/13) of the 700 Club Comedy Show, Patty decided to celebrate the Twelfth anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks by slamming former President George Bush for calling Islam a “religion of peace,” and further said that countries that welcomed Televangelists, I’m sorry, I mean Muslims were “committing suicide.”
Screwy Pat went on to argue that countries were allowing Muslims to practice freely because “they have lost their faith in God; they have lost their faith in Jesus Christ.” Patty then went on to say: “We’ve done it here in America.” “We’ve abolished prayer in the schools and we’ve taken out Bible reading in the schools.”
This is the same Idiot (my apologies to idiots) that claimed shortly after the 9/11 attacks in 2001 that “the pagans and abortionists and the feminists and the gays and the lesbians who are actively trying to make that an alternative lifestyle” were to blame for 9/11.
Apparently, Screwy Pat, the Aspiring Standup Comedian, would now have us believe that banning prayer and bible reading in publicly funded schools was also a cause for the 9/11 attack.
I’m sure that another cause of the 9/11 attack was the fact that the atheist leaning Green Bay Packers beat the Pittsburgh Steelers in the Super Bow.
Congrats Teddy; keep up the good work! We should let everyone know of your amazing record as one of Americas Least Appreciated “Screwball”; you are far too humble.
