Attorney Mike Morse of Southfield, MI; hypocrite, ambulance chaser

The state of Michigan presented Michael J. Morse with a law license in 1992 after he graduated from the University of Detroit Law School.

The Michigan Attorney Grievance Commission has charged Mike with engaging in the following misconduct.

In one matter, the Commission states that Mike was involved in the hospital room solicitation of a woman in Detroit's Sinai-Grace Hospital.

The commission went on to state that as owner of the Southfield-based Mike Morse Law Firm, Mike was personally liable for the alleged solicitation of the woman, who became a client after signing a Mike Morse Law retainer agreement handed to her by a stranger in her hospital room.

The ethics complaint goes on to state that Mike’s law firm — billed as "the largest personal injury law firm in Michigan" — took an improperly large cut of the woman's no-fault insurance benefits during the six-month period when an auto insurance company was voluntarily paying her benefits but no lawsuit had been filed.

Mike’s Offensive Hypocrisy

In TV advertisements, Mike warns viewers that after an auto accident, it’s illegal for a stranger to solicit for legal services or medical treatment. His ad specifically states:

• “You’re being conned — that's a crime.”
• “Call the police, and if you need further help, call me at 855-MIKE-WINS.”

In truth, Mike is an embarrassment to all well-intentioned hypocrites!

All that remains now is to see what if any punishment is meted out to Mike by the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Disciplinary Board.

As we speak (ca. February 2017), Mike practices with the Mike Morse Law Firm at 24901 Northwestern Highway in Southfield, Michigan, which is a suburb of Detroit.
