Judge Joseph Trainor of Boston, MA; drunken lifer

The State of Massachusetts provided Joseph Trainor with a law license in 1977 after he graduated from Suffolk University School of Law.

The Massachusetts Judicial Commission found Joey guilty of the following misconduct.

Former Gov. William Weld was duped into appointing Joey as a Juvenile Court judge in 1997. Subsequently, former Gov. Jane Swift was duped into appointing Alan as an associate justice on the Massachusetts Appeal Court in 2001. Joey was appointed because he was the most qualified attorney in the greater Boston area om 1997 or 2001. He received the appointments because he had proven to be a reliable lackey for the local political hacks.

It should be noted that Joey has had his significant snout firmly implanted in the public trough for thirty-eight (38) years. Apparently, no self-respecting law firm in the greater Boston area was about to offer him a good job.

  • Charged with driving under the influence (DUI)
  • DUI criminal charge dismissed upon completion of completion of court-ordered education

As a direct consequence of his conduct, the cheerleaders for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Judicial Commission punished Joey by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. December 2018), Joey continues to sit as an associate justice on the Court of Appeals in Boston, Massachusetts.
