Judge Scott Johansen of Price, UT; bigoted homophobe

The state of Utah presented Kimberly A. Wanker with a law license in 1977 after he graduated from Brigham Young University Law School.

Scotty has had his significant snout firmly implanted in the public trough for the past forty-three years (1979 to 2015). Apparently, no self-respecting law firm in the Carbon County area was about to offer Scotty a good paying job.

Former Gov. Norman H. Bangerter was duped into appointing Scotty as a Seventh District Juvenile Court judge 1992 in Price, Utah. Scotty didn’t receive the appointment because he was the most qualifed attorney in the Carbon County area. He received it because she had proven to be a reliable lackey for the local political hacks.

The Arkansas Judicial Discipline & Disability Commission found Judge Van Hook Jr. guilty of  the following misconduct.

In a recent (10/12/15) matter, Scotty the Bigot ordered that a baby be removed from the foster home of her potential parents because the couple care for her is gay. (New Civil Rights Movement)

April Hoagland and Beckie Peirce were astonished and shocked when Scotty ruled the child could not stay with them because he had seem some research indicating that children with LGBT parents didn’t do as well as those with heterosexual parents.

Of course Scotty the Bigot didn’t tell the couple the source of his so-called research. However, one can safely assume it came from some of his fellow homophobic bigots like Dr. James Dobson and/or the Right Rev. Pat Robertson.

Research performed by unbiased folks establishes that children with same-sex parents actually do better in many ways than do those with heterosexual parents. Other research shows that children of same-sex couples are not different than their peers.

Obviously, Scotty the Moron wasn’t interested in researching unbiased, scientific studies performed by qualified individuals and/or organizations. After all, a dyed-in-the-wool bigot can’t allow the truth to interfere with the implementation of his bigoted views.

And lastly, in an effort to cement his status as a practicing mysoginist as well as a homophobic bigot, Scotty had the chutzpah to make the following statement in support of his asinine ruling.

  • “It is liberating for parents to take on roles that suit their skills rather than defaulting to gender stereotypes, where mum is the primary care giver and dad the primary breadwinner.”

One must wonder why Scotty is so adamantly opposed to gay folks. Maybe its time someone asked Scotty the following question.

“What’s in your closet, Scotty?”

As we speak (November 2015), Scotty remains sitting as a juvenile court judge in Price, Utah.
