Judge Gerald Williams of Surprise, AZ; ethical gremlin

The state of Arizona presented Gerald Arnold Williams with a law license in 1998 after he graduated from the University of Oklahoma Law School.

The Judicial Commission found Gerry guilty of the following misconduct.

• Conducted debtor’s exam in violation of bankruptcy court stay order
• Engaged in a terse manner at debtor’s exam
• Failed to act in an impartial manner
• Failed to uphold and comply with the law
• Failed to act courteously and patient with litigants during court proceedings

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Arizona Supreme Court punished Gerry by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. January 2016), Jerry continues to sit as a Justice of the Peace in Surprise, Arizona.
