Judge Mario Batelli of Totowa, NJ; nepotistic loser

The state of New Jersey presented provided Mario Antimo Batelli with a law license in 1998 after he graduated from Quinnipiac University Law  School.

The New Jersey Supreme Court’s Advisory Committee on Judicial Conduct has charged Batelli with the following misconduct.

In one matter, Mario allegedly misused his judicial office and authority to help his sister-in-law and her father in a dispute they were having with a home renovation contractor. Mario admits he discussed the renovation problems with his brother Eugene and his sister-in-law Annalisa and her father Pasquale DePinto involving contractor Anthony Pizza.

Mario told Annalisa and her father they could go to the Wayne, NJ police or municipal court and file criminal charges against Mr. Pizza. Mario then sent an email to Annalisa that listed seven criminal charges that she could file against Mr. Pizza.

Being the family man he is, Mario admitted that he illegally directed the Totowa Police to run a criminal background check on Mr. Pizza. Of course Mario knew that he was prohibited form requesting such information unless it was for official court business, which this clearly wasn’t.

All that remains now is to see what if any punishment is meted out to Mario by the enablers for Judicial Misfits sitting on the New Jersey Supreme Court.

As we speak (ca. February 2012), Mario remains sitting as a Municipal Court judge in Totowa, New Jersey. Mario also practices law with Foster & Mazzie at 10 Furler Street in Totowa, New Jersey.
