Judge Caroline Tesche of Tampa; incompetent boob

The state of Florida presented Caroline with a law license in 1988 after she graduated from the Lewis & ClarkLawSchool,

In one matter, Judge Tesche presided over a case involving Susan Farrell, the former wife of Mark Farrell in regards to divorce action.

During the pendency of the Farrell matter, Susan filed a motion for attorney fees for her successful defense against a contempt motion filed by her former husband.

During a hearing on Susan’s motion for fees, her attorney was unable to complete her case during the time reserved for the hearing. Therefore, at the conclusion of the hearing, the two parties scheduled a continuation of the hearing for several weeks later.

However, Judge Tesche entered an order sua sponte (on her own motion) denying Susan’s motion for fees four days before the date was set for the continuation of the hearing.

Subsequently, Susan appealed Tesche’s asinine ruling to the Court of Appeals. The court of appeals reversed Tesche’s order by ruling that “A trial court’s failure to allow a party to present evidence and to be heard on issues pending before the court constitutes a denial of due process.”

Seemingly, Lewis & ClarkLawSchool did not offer classes in constitutional law as it relates to “due process” when Caroline attended in the mid 1980s.

It would appear that Caroline is under the impression that “due process” is the means by which the grass becomes moist in the a.m.

Unfortunately, as of August 2014, Caroline continues to sit as a Hillsborough County Circuit Court Judge in Tampa, Florida.
