Judge James Aluzzi of Fulton, NY; ticket fixing loser

It should be noted that Jimmy is not a licensed attorney nor did he attend law school.

The New York Commission on Judicial Conduct found Jimmy guilty of the following misconduct.

• Improperly abused judicial position in requesting favoritism regarding a traffic ticket given to a friend
• Instructed clerk to give friend’s ticket to Judge Hawthorne in have him dismiss it for me
• Knowingly and cheerfully engaged in “ticket fixing”

After clerk raised her hands in a “stop” motion she and Jimmy engaged in the following back and forth.

•  CLERK:
• “We don’t do that here.”
• “If you want that ticket reduced or dismissed, you have to go through the DA’s office.”
• JIMMY:
• “Just take it, and just give it to him.”

After the clerk refused to take the ticket, Jimmy placed it on the counter and told her to write his name and telephone number on it and have Judge Hawthorne call him.

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Judicial Misfits and Aspiring Standup Comedians sitting on the Judicial Commission punished Jimmy by gifting him with a complimentary admonition.

As we speak (ca. July 2018), Jimmy continues to sit as a Justice of the Peace of the Volney Town Court, Oswego County at 1445 County Route 6 in Fulton, New York.
