Judge John Tauscher of Alabama, NY; ethical leprechaun

The State Commission on Judicial Conduct found Johnny guilty of the following misconduct.

• Threatened to increase amount of fines to finance his demand for salary increase the Town Board might approve for himself, his co-judge and the court clerk
• Threatened to decrease amount of fines when Town Board refused to increase his salary
• Seriously undermined public confidence in impartiality of the court
• Implicitly threatening to impose sentences for improper reasons

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Judicial Commission punished Johnny by gifting him with a complimentary admonishment.

As we speak (ca. June 2016), Johnny continues to sit as a Justice of the Alabama Town Court, Genesee County in Alabama, New York, which is a rural town located between Buffalo and Rochester.
