Rep. Tom Cotton (R-AR): Today's “Misogynist” Award Winner

This isn’t the first and certainly will not be the last Award presented to Tommy. In fact, in the past, he has been the recipient of one (1) prior award, which is listed at the end of this article and viewed by going to the listed category in various categories and/or the subject of opinion pieces. Those awards and opinion pieces are listed at the end of this article and can be viewed by going to the listed categories.

Tommy duped the voters into electing him to the U.S. House of Representatives in November 2012. He is now attempting to dupe all of the voters in Arkansas into electing him to the U.S. Senate in November 2014.

While attending law school at Harvard, and in an ongoing effort to cement his status as a Premier Misogynist, Tommy wrote an article for the Harvard Crimson regarding no-fault divorces wherein he said:
  • “Feminists say no fault divorce was a large hurdle on the path to female liberation," Cotton wrote. "They apparently don't consult the deepest hopes or greatest fears of young women.”
  • Young women’s “greatest fear” in life was to be left by their husbands.
As one would suspect, Tommy hasn’t been able to find any women that would be willing to marry him. Goshes and Gollies, I wonder why!

Apparently, Tommy believes that rather than no-fault divorces, women should be made to prove “beyond a reasonable doubt” that their husband is a (1) serial abuser, (2) congenital drunk, and/or (3) a total loser before they can obtain a divorce.

Congrats Tommy; keep up the good work! We should let everyone know of your amazing record as one of Americas Least Understood “Misogynists”; you are far too humble.
