Rep. John Boehner (R-OH): Today’s MoronAward Winner

Congratulations to….

Rep. John Boehner (R-OH)

Today’s Moron Award Winner

This isn’t the first Award presented to Johnny. In the past, he has been the recipient of twenty-two (22) Awards in various categories and/or the subject of one (1) opinion piece. Those awards and opinion piece are listed at the end of this article and can be viewed by going to the listed categories.

On November 18, 2014, Johnny announced that he has hired so-called constitutional lawyer Jonathan Turley to lead the sham lawsuit filed by the GOP against President Obama in regards to the implementation of the Affordable Care Act.

Johnny has cheerfully screwed the taxpayers by agreeing to pay Turley $500 an hour. Trust me folks, Turley ain’t worth $500 an hour. In fact, I’m sure a competent attorney could be had for $150 an hour.

Making matters extremely obnoxious is the fact that there are seventy-six (76) GOP members of Congress that are licensed attorneys as set forth in Table I at the end of this article.

There are eleven (11) members from Texas that are licensed attorneys (See Table II). In addition there are twenty-three (23) GOP senators that are licensed attorneys (See Table III). Therefore, in total there are ninety-nine (99) GOP attorneys in Congress that could prosecute the lawsuit against Obama. And they could all do it pro bono (free). Unfortunately, Speaker Boehner “The Bone” and his GOP member attorneys have decided to give the taxpayers the Bone by paying Turley $500 an hour.

What’s even more interesting is that there are two (2) senators and four (4) house members that are graduates of Harvard (See Table IV). You’d think these fellers would be more than qualified to argue the constitutional aspect of the GOP’s lawsuit against Obama.

Most of the members of congress listed herein consistently express deep concerns about the federal budget deficit. However, when it comes to wasting millions upon millions in taxpayer dollars to employ $500-an-hour attorneys, they find this perfectly acceptable.

Boehner and his gang of certified losers give Hypocrisy a bad name!

Congrats Johnny; keep up the good work! We should let everyone know of your amazing record as one of Americas Least Accomplished “Morons”; you are far too humble.
