Family Christian Bookstore: Today’s “Fleece-Flocker” Award Winner
On it’s self-serving website, FCB has the chutzpah to state that they are a leading resource for Christian goods and that they provide excellent value to their customers. This claim is patently false as proven by the table below.
The table establishes that FCB bilks their customers by charging them as much as $30.99 more for a book than that same book can be purchases at Amazon.com. I don’t know about you, but an allegedly Good Christian charging another Christian $30.99 for a book that could be bought at Amazon for $5.00 doesn’t seem very Christian, right?
It should be noted that the authors listed in Text Box 1 are all right-wing authors, some of whom are serial liars, defamers and foul mouth losers. This begs the question as to why a so-called religious bookstore would so willingly pimp their products.
And last, at a minimum, if FCB was truly interested in treating its customers fairly by offering them “excellent value,” then they should provide each book purchaser with a 50% off coupon for their next purchase of Preparation H.
