Today’s “Fleece-Flocker” Award Winners are Eddie & Alice Smith of Houston
Eddie and Alice are the cofounders of the so-called U.S. Prayer Center located in Houston. As is the case with their fellow Fleece-Flockers (see links at end of article), Eddie & Alice find it acceptable to rip-off their followers by charging exorbitant prices for books they claimed to have authored. They also hose their clients by over-billing them for books written by others.
Eddie & Alice are co-sponsors of a prayer event hosted by Texas Gov. Rick Perry called “The Response,” which is scheduled to be held on Aug 6 at the Reliant stadium in Houston. Since some of my viewers are adolescents, I must refrain from giving my responsive opinion to the efficacy of “The Response.”
It appears that Eddie & God’s work. If God worked like these Greedy Heretics, he would’ve charged at least $25.00 for a loaf of bread and $75.00 for a fish.
Luckily for the famished thousands gathered at the Sea of Galilee, Eddie and Alice and those of their ilk weren’t in charge.
