Rep. Bob Goodlatte (R-VA): Today’s “Dumbo” Award Winner

Congratulations to….

Rep. Bob Goodlatte (R-VA)

Today’s “Dumbo” Award Winner

This isn’t the first Award presented to Bobby. In the past, he has been the recipient of two (3) Awards in various categories.  Those awards are listed at the end of this article and can be viewed by going to the listed categories.

Bobby is another loser attorney who apparently decided he could earn more as a politician then he could practicing law. Put simply, Bobby decided to go into the second most ethical profession.

Bobby is currently (ca. April 2014) the chairman of the Judiciary Committee in the U.S. House of Representatives.

In a never ending attempt to feed red meat to the low I.Q. voters that put him in office in 1993, Bobby decided to attack Obama on March 22, 2014 after he announced a new presidential clemency initiative when he said:

“In an unprecedented move to dramatically expand the clemency process for federal drug offenders, President Obama has again demonstrated his blatant disregard for our nation's laws and our system of checks and balances embedded in the U.S. Constitution.”

As a member of congress for the past twenty-one (21) years, Bobby absolutely knows that Obama has granted fewer clemencies than Ronald Reagan, George H.W. Bush, Bill Clinton and George W. Bush.

Moreover, Article II, Section 2 of the U.S. Constitution states, the “President shall have power to grant reprieves and pardons for offenses against the United States, except in cases of impeachment.”

Apparently Bobby either skipped or flunked classes in constitutional law when he attended Washington & Lee University Law School. Of course it could be that Washington & Lee didn’t offer constitutional law courses in the mid-1970s.

Congrats Bobby; keep up the good work! We should let everyone know of your amazing record as one of Americas Least Appreciated “Dumbos”; you are far too humble.
