Today’s “Dumbo” Award Winner

Jon is a co-host of the Happening Now Comedy Show along with fellow comedian Jenna Lee on the Fox News Comedy Network.

In an effort to feed some red meat to viewers that actually believe that the IRS conspired with the Obama administration in singling out conservative organizations only for scrutiny in applying for tax exempt status.

After renowned comedian, Rep. Darrell Issa forced former IRS official Lois Lerner to appear before the House Oversight Committee on March 5, 2014, Jon said that Ms. Lerner should give up her constitutional rights to remain silent and testify before Issa if she wanted death threats against her life to stop.

Jon then went on to say:

• “I can see why if you’re getting death threats, why you wouldn’t want to open yourself up to more scrutiny.”
• “But at the same time, it would seem that answering some of the questions might cause some of these people who are so angry to ease up.”

Only a Certified Moron would suggest that it is acceptable to threaten someone’s life because they’re allegedly angry. In most jurisdictions, such threats are crimes.

Of course Jon isn’t concerned at all about appointees of Gov. Chris Christie in New Jersey invokving their right to remain silent in regards to the Bridge scandal. But then again, they’re Republicans, which makes it acceptable, right Jon?

Congrats Jon; keep up the good work! We should let everyone know of your amazing record as one of Americas Least Appreciated “Dumbos”; you are far too humble.
