Pat Buchanan: Today’s “Bigot” Award Winner

Congratulations to….

Pat Buchanan

Today’s Bigot Award Winner

This isn’t the first and certainly will not be the last Award presented to Patty. In fact, in the past, he has been the recipient of one previous Bigot Award. That award can be viewed by going to the Bigot Award Winner category under Award Winners.

In his August 23, 2013, syndicated comedy column, Patty found some good points in segregation by claiming that segregated schools were “the transmission belts of patriotism and traditional values rooted in biblical truths.”

The Bigot went on to note that segregated schools today would be deemed unconstitutional, despite having “graduated hardworking, law-abiding and productive citizens.”

Apparently, the Bigot would also argue that it was patriotic for plantation owners to enslave blacks for the purpose of picking cotton and/or tobacco because they provided free housing and eats to their slaves.

What’s next for the Bigot? Will he claim that it was acceptable for racists in the south to force blacks to ride in the back of the bus because it taught them “traditional values”?

Congrats Patty; keep up the good work! We should let everyone know of your amazing record as one of Americas Least Understood “Bigots”; you are far too humble.
