Today’s “Bigot” Award Winner is Newt Gingrich

Congratulations to….

Newt Gingrich
Today’s “Bigot” Award Winner

While announcing his bid for president in Macon, Georgia on Friday the 13th (Is that like apropos or what?), Newt the Toot said: “President Obama is the most successful food stamp president in American history.”

When the media subsequently questioned him about the racial aspects of his commentary, Newt had the chutzpah to take offense at any suggestion that his comment had racial overtones. Newt’s feigned outrage doesn’t’ pass the involuntary laugh test. Obviously, Newt missed his calling as a standup comedian, right?

Coupled with his past comments, many of which were clearly intended to incite racial animus against Obama among Newt’s southern constituency, is there really any doubt that Newt is now and has always been a die-in-the-wool bigot?

Moreover, can it be disputed that Newt would say anything, and I mean anything to curry favor with the good Ol’ white folks in Georgia?

In fact, if 75% of southerners supported gay marriage, Ol’ Newt would vigorously attack every naysayer as a Nazi sympathizer or even worse.

And lastly, an unreliable source provided me with a photo which is posted to the right of Newt’s response to the following question from a member of the media:

“How many black friends do you now have or have you had in the past Newt?”

Congrats Newt; keep up the good work! We should let everyone know of your amazing record as a practicing racist; you are far too humble.
