Rep. Louie Gohmert sez America lost if Immigration Reform Passes
During a recent (late March 2016) interview with Baltimore talk radio hosts Sean Casey and Frank Luber, Rep. Louie Gohmert decided to cement his standing as a Bigoted Moron by attacking immigration reform. (Miranda Blue)
Casey asked Louie about a study showing that the immigrant population in the U.S. of A. is at 61 million and whether that could result in Texas going the way of California by turning “into a blue state.” Casey failed to tell his listeners that the 61 million figure includes American citizens born to immigrants.
Louie responded by that Ronald Reagan was “tricked into signing an amnesty bill and all of the sudden you had 2 to 4 million Democratic voters.” The actual number of immigrants involved was about 3 million. According to Louie the Bullshitter, each and everyone one of them registered as a Democrat and voted accordingly.
Louie continued with his Bigoted Rant by saying:
If voters were required to be educated before they could vote, then Louie and those of his ilk would never have been elected to the U.S. House of Representatives. Moreover, if this were in fact a requirement, at least half of the voters would be prohibited from voting in the 2016 presidential election.
