Today’s “Bigot” Award Winner

Casey Davis is a Rowan County Kentucky Clerk who believes she has a god given right to thumb her nose at decisions emanating from the U.S. Supreme Court on gay marriage.

In late August 2015, Casey the Bigoted Homophobe refused to issue marriage licenses to same-sex couples after the Supreme Court ruled state bans to be unconstitutional.

Casey recently (08/24/15) appeared on The Tom Rotten Morning Comedy Show to talk about how he plans to defy the courts if ordered to issue same-sex marriage licenses. Towards that end, Casey told Rotten’s intellectually impaired listeners:

• “It’s a war on Christianity.”
• “There is a travesty taking place with that Supreme Court ruling was completely unconstitutional, completely unconstitutional.”
• They have no right to tell us, the state of Kentucky that our law that was voted with what was 70 percent of the people that it was wrong, they had no right.”

Casey the Bigot went on to say:

• “Our law says ‘one man and one woman’ and that is what I held my hand up and took an oath to and that is what I expected.”
• “If it takes it, I will go to jail over — if it takes my life, I will die for because I believe I owe that to the people that fought so I can have the freedom that I have, I owe that to them today and you do, we all do.”
• “They fought and died so we could have this freedom and I’m going to fight and die for my kids and your kids can keep it.”

In addition to being a dyed-in-the-wool bigot, Casey is a world class Buffoon (my apologies to Buffoons). Casey’s a public servant who is under a sworn duty to perform his government duties in accordance with the law, and that includes issuing marriage licenses to same-sex couples. If he refuses to so act, then he should be fired and sent off to work as a greeter at the local Walmart.

One must seriously wonder why Casey expends so much energy in his spewing forth hatred towards members of the gay community. Maybe we need to ask Casey the following question:

“What’s in your closet, Casey?”

Congrats Casey; keep up the good work! We should let everyone know of your amazing record as one of Americas Least Appreciated “Bigots”; you are far too humble.
