Family Research Council: Today’s “Bigot” Award Winner

Congratulations to….

Family Research Council

Today’s “Bigot” Award Winner

The Family Research Council (FRC) proudly announced on April 15, 2015 that it has partnered up with Rick Santorum’s comedy film company, EchoLight Studios to produce a short comedy film for churches to air during the April 26 event “Stand for Marriage Sunday: Religious Freedom at Risk.” (Brian Tashman)

The film features comedy appearance by Santorum and Mike Huckabee. In it, the FRC laughingly warns that if the Supreme Court finds that same-sex marriage bans are unconstitutional it would jeopardize religious freedom and undermine the separation of church and state.

In the film, lead comedian Tony Perkins makes reference to lawsuits in Oregon and Washington state where a baker and florist were sued for violating non-discrimination laws for refusing service to gay customers. It should be noted that the florist and bake lost their cases in court.

Tony claims that the lawsuits are a sign of a dark future in which the government will infringe on the rights of religious people in order to promote gay equality.

It doesn’t take a mental giant to understand what Tony’s agenda is. He and those of his ilk (FYI: Tony, ILK is not defined as a male ELK), are actually claiming that the constitution allows them to overtly discriminate against members of the gay community based on some perverted religious view.

If true, then what would prevent David Duke and his past Klan members from claiming the same religious freedom right to discriminate against Blacks, Hispanics, Jews, Catholics and Asians? Put simply, what’s good for the goose (evangelical bigots) has to be good for the ganders (assorted bigots, homophobes and racists).

CongratsFamily Research Council; keep up the good work! We should let everyone know of your amazing record as one of Americas Least Appreciated “Bigots”; you are far too humble
