Nova Scotia’s 2018: Attorney Ivory Soap Purity Ratings = 99.5%

Ivory Soap advertises a purity rating of 99.4%. In the Newfoundland legal system, there are 2,025 attorneys practicing throughout the province. For the year 2018, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Law Society of Nova Scotia handed out the following complimentary sanctions against four (4) attorneys for engaging in a variety of misconduct.

• 3 = letters of cautions
• 1 = letter of counsel

This laughable finding by the Newfoundland Law Society means that Nova Scotia ‘s 99.5% Ivory Soap Purity rating for 2018 is preposterous in that it indicates the near impossibility of finding a dishonest or incompetent attorney.

This would mean that if all 2,025 attorneys attended a hockey game at the Port Hawkesbury Civic Centre is a multi-purpose arena located in Port Hawkesbury, Nova Scotia with a seating capacity of 2,000 it’d be nearly impossible to locate the 5 unethical and/or incompetent attorneys even if they raised their hands in unison.

And lastly, the citizens of Nova Scotia have the folks sitting on the Nova Scotia Law Society to thank for failing to take affirmative and appropriate steps to protect you and yours from unethical and/or incompetent attorneys.
