In November 1971, Tommy duped the voters in the greater Norristown area into electing him as a member of the Pennsylvania State Senate.

In one matter, House Democrats authorized paying about $250,000 to settle a sexual harassment claim from a legislative assistant against Tommy.

As one would suspect, the enablers for public official misfits at the Pennsylvania Ethics Commission has not taken any action against Tommy.

As we speak (ca. May 2018) Tommy continues to sit as a member of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.
