In November 1971, Ricky duped the voters in the greater Beavercreek area into electing him as a member of the Ohio House of Representatives.

In one matter, Ricky admitted in March 2018 that he engaged in "flirtatious and inappropriate texting" with constituent Jocelyn Smith in 2015 but denied accusations that he forcibly kissed and choked her.

As one would suspect, the enablers for public official misfits at the Ethics Commission has not taken any action against Ricky.

As we speak (ca. May 2018) Ricky continues to sit as a member of the Ohio House of Representatives in Columbus, Ohio.
