State Rep: Doug McLeod (R-MS): wife beating loser

In mid-May 2019, Doug was arrested for punching his wife in the face. It was alleged that he punched her because she was a little lackadaisical in not undressing quickly enough before they were able to have sex.

A report from sheriff’s deputies, states that Doug bloodied his wife’s nose and that they found blood on the bed and bedroom floor. When the sheriff’s arrived, Doug appeared to be drunk, was stumbling and holding onto a drink.

The report went on to state that another woman on the scene stated that when Doug’s wife came running to her room, she locked the door. She then said that Doug began banging on the door and ordering her to open it. She said that Dough told her if she didn’t open the door, he’d “kill her dog.”

As we speak (ca. June 2019), Doug continues to sit as a member of the Mississippi House of Representatives.
