State Rep. Jim Lucas (R-IN): Today’s “Screwball” Award Winner

In November 2011, Jimmy succeeded in duping the voters in Indiana District 69 to elect him as a member of the Indiana House of Representatives.

Jimmy is another right-wing idiot who supports the asinine rants of Donald “Trumporleone” Trump in attacking the constitutional rights afforded to a Free Press.

To further prove that he’s one of Indiana’s Premier Lunatics, Jimmy recently (October 2017) drafted legislation that would require journalists to register with the Indiana State Police before they would be allowed to report the news.

Jimmy’s idiot legislation would require journalists to be fingerprinted and forced to pay a $75 fee for a lifetime license to report the news.

Additionally, Jimmy’s law would deny a reporter’s license/permit to anyone with a record of domestic battery or any felony conviction.

However, Jimmy and those of his ilk in the Indiana legislature have never proposed a law preventing wife beaters and felons from being elected to the state legislature or a statewide office.

In an effort at levity and after donning a pair of Trumpian Brand ™ Industrial Strength Knee Pads, Jimmy boasted that his legislation could set a precedent for The Don. He then went on to say:

“I’m a year ahead of President Trump on this.”

Jimmy better hope that the Indiana legislature doesn’t pass a law requiring its members to take an I.Q. test with a passing grade of at least 110. This would likely prohibit Jimmy from public office since his I.Q. is just a tad higher than the legal speed limit in a school zone.

Congrats Jimmy; keep up the good work! We should let everyone know of your amazing record as one of Americas Least Appreciated “Screwballs”; you are far too humble.
