In one matter, Dave represented a client for her claim for convention refugee status before the Immigration and Refugee Board. Over a period of eighteen (18) months, Dave sexually harassed the client by making comments and overtures of a sexual nature to her.

Despite her resistance to Dave’s overtures, he kissed her, or attempted to do so, on a number of occasions. He showed up at her home and presented her with a gift which she refused to accept.

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Law Society punished Dave by gifting him with a complimentary 45-day suspension of his law license and costs of $1,000.

As we speak (ca. February 2018), Dave practices with Brodsky & Company at 363 Broadway in Winnipeg, Canada.
