Attorney Mitchell Barrock of Brookfield, WI; lying loser

The state of Wisconsin presented Mitchell J. Barrock with a law license in 1987 after he graduated from Thomas M. Cooley Law School.

The Office of Lawyer Registration (OLR) found Mitch guilty of the following misconduct.

·        Failed to hold portion of settlement funds in trust account

·        Testified falsely in deposition that he held portion of settlement funds in trust account when in fact he had already disbursed all of said funds

·        Failed to tell OLR investigators that he had disbursed

·        Failed to maintain trust account records for required six years

·        Misrepresented (lied) in a cross-complaint that his client had agreed to indemnify him for all claims and liens, including prior attorney fees re: his representation of client

·        Engaged in a conflict of interest

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Wisconsin Supreme Court punished Mitch by gifting him with a complimentary 90-day suspension of his law license.

Because Attorney Misfits in Wisconsin are held to a much lower standard of conduct then everyone else, Mitch was never criminally charged for perjury.

As we speak (ca. November 2014), Mitch practices with Barrock & Barrock at 13500 West Capitol Drive in Brookfield, Wisconsin.
