Attorney Eric L. Crandall of Richmond, WI; repeat offender

 
The state of Wisconsin provided Eric L. Crandall with a law license in 1991 after he graduated from the William Mitchell School of Law.
 
Eric has been found guilty of misconduct on at least three (3) occasions, which is discussed below.  
 
1st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree – 2006
 
The Office of Lawyer Regulation (OLR) found Eric guilty of the following misconduct
  1. Neglecting client matters (slacker)
  2. Failure to communicate with clients
  3. Failed to appear at scheduled court hearings
  4. Failed to comply with mandatory discovery rules
  5. Failed to cooperate with OLR grievance investigation
As a consequence of his 1st bite at the Misfit Tree, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Wisconsin Supreme Court gifted Eric with a complimentary 90-day suspension of his law license.
 
2nd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree – 2008
 
The Office of Lawyer Regulation (OLR) found Eric guilty of the following misconduct
  1. Advancing a claim or defense not warranted under existing law (frivolous conduct)
  2. Knowingly advancing a factual position without any basis to do so
  3. Failing to file brief in opposition to a summary judgment motion
  4. Failed to keep his clients informed about the status their legal matter
  5. Failed to return client’s files in timely manner after being fired
Failed to cooperate with OLR grievance investigation
 
As a consequence of his 1st bite at the Misfit Tree, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Wisconsin Supreme Court gifted Eric with a complimentary reprimand.
 
2nd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree – 2011
 
The Office of Lawyer Regulation (OLR) found Eric guilty of the following misconduct
  1. Neglecting client matters (slacker)
  2. Failing to appear at clients’ court hearings (abandonment)
  3. Failure to comply with mandatory discovery rules
  4. Failing to cooperate with OLR investigation
  5. Failed to notify OLR of his Minnesota suspension within 20 days of suspension
  6. Violated court order
As a consequence of his misconduct, the patron saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Wisconsin Supreme Court punished Eric by gifting him with a complimentary 3-month suspension of his law license.
 
As we speak (ca. April 2012) Eric practices law with Crandall Law Offices SC at 251 South Knowles Avenue I n Richmond, Wisconsin.
