Attorney Kenneth R. Kratz of Kimberly, WI; sexual harasser, loser Kenneth R. Kratz was presented with a law license by the Wisconsin Supreme Court in 1985 after graduating from Marquette University School of Law.
During his tenure as Calumet County District Attorney, Kenny was prosecuted Stephanie Van Groll’s ex-boyfriend for domestic violence. During this prosecution, Kenny became enamored with Stephanie and sent her numerous emails and/or text messages which were sexual in nature. Examples are as follows:
Subsequently, Stephanie reported Kenny’s conduct to the police, which caused an investigation by several agencies.
Kenny the Harasser’s Hyperbolic (BS) Defense
In a lame attempt at levity, Kenny described the 30 texts he sent to Stephanie as a “series of respectful messages.” Clearly, Kenny missed his calling as a standup comedian, right?
Kenny was forced to resign his position as Calumet County District Attorney. Recently, the Office of Lawyer Regulation recommended to the Wisconsin Supreme Court that Kenny’s law license be suspended for six-months.
Because Attorney Misfits in Wisconsin are held to a much lower standard of conduct then we are. I will be surprised if the Supreme Court actually suspends Kenny even though he should be suspended for at least 18 months.
As we speak (ca. Jan 2012) Kenneth practices law at the Kratz Law Firm at 702 Eisenhower Driver in Kimberly, which is a suburb of Appleton, Wisconsin.
