Attorney Karene Marchan of Oak Creek, WI; cheating loser

The state of Wisconsin provided Karene Sue Marchan with a law license in 1995 after she graduated from the University of Wisconsin Law School.

The Office of Lawyer Regulation (OLR) found Karene guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Screw you, said Karene!)
• Failed to communicate with client
• Refused to provide client with client file upon termination
• Stated on the record that fee dispute with client would be resolved via arbitration
• Lied about resolving fee dispute thru arbitration
• Refused to pay client funds owing to client per court order
• Pursued an unreasonable fee (cheater)
• Made improper withdrawals from her trust account

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Wisconsin Supreme Court punished Karene by gifting her with  a complimentary 6-month suspension of her law license.

As we speak (ca. June 2018), Karene practices with the Marchan Law Offices LLC at 3460 East American Avenue in Oak Creek, Wisconsin.
