Attorney David Penn of Eagle River, WI; convicted druggie

The state of Wisconsin presented David V. Penn with a law license in 1986 after he graduated from Marquette University Law School.

The Office of Lawyer Regulation found Dave guilty of the following misconduct, all of which took place while he was employed as Vilas County District Attorney.

In one matter, Dave was convicted of the illegal use of marijuana and cocaine.

Making matters worse, is the fact that while acting as district attorney in respect to referral and prosecution of nine people who had used illegal drugs with him or had personal knowledge of his drug use.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Wisconsin Supreme Court punished Dave by gifting him with a complimentary 2-year suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. August 2015), Dave practices in Eagle River, Wisconsin.
