Attorney Jeffery Drach of Wausau, WI; thief, repeat offender

The state of Wisconsin provided Jeffery J. Drach with a law license in 1975 after he graduated from the University of Wisconsin Law School.

The Office of Lawyer Regulation found Jeff guilty of the following misconduct.

Jeff’s 1^st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

• Engaged in a conflict of interest

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Wisconsin Supreme Court punished Jeff by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

Jeff’s 2nd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

• Despite entering into a flat fee agreement, Jeff billed his clients by the hour
• Double-billed clients for same work (thief)
• Failed to explain to clients in writing when his flat-fee estimate would turn into an hourly fee
• Withdrew certain fees from trust account before he earned them
• Ordered to refund $11,452.40 to clients for overbilling them

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Wisconsin Supreme Court punished Jeff by gifting him with another complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. March 2018), Jeff practices with the Drach Elder Law Center LLC at 505 South 24^th Avenue in Wausau, Wisconsin.
