Attorney Tiffany Luther of Mequon, WI; ethical goblin

The state of Wisconsin provided Tiffany T. Luther with a law license in 200 after she graduated from Marquette University Law School.

The Office of Lawyer Registration found Luther guilty of the following misconduct.

• Never held necessary discussions with clients re: credit collection procedures
• Failed to provide clients copies of letters sent to creditors on their behalf and accurately inform the clients of actions taken on their behalf
• Charged multiple clients fees for which they received no meaningful services
• Failed to explain to client’s purpose and effect of the advanced payments they were making to credit collection agency
• Failed to inform client of a default and right to cure notice received from one of the client’s creditors
• Failed to promptly refund unearned fees upon termination of the representation

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Wisconsin Supreme punished Luther by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand and ordered to pay costs of $7,414.00.

As we speak (ca. February 2018), Luther practices with the Law Offices of Tiffany T. Luther at 4123 West Pioneer Road in Mequon, Wisconsin.
