Attorney Biann-Sheng Tsui of Seattle; ethical leprechaun
The state of Washington presented Biann-Sheng Tsui with a law license in 1984.
he graduated from the University of Utah Law School.
The Washington State Bar found Tsui guilty of the following misconduct.
- Engaged in a conflict of interest
- Failed to preserve identity of client funds and property
- Engaged in prohibited transactions with client
- Failed to reconcile client balances against check register balances
- Failed to properly supervise office staff
- Negligence caused overdrafts of trust account
- Failed to promptly disburse settlement proceeds to client
- Failed to maintain complete records of client funds
- Commingled client funds with personal funds
- Paid one client with funds belonging to another client
- Allowed staff to enter into business transaction with client
As a consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Washington State Supreme Court punished Tsui by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.
As we speak (ca. September 2014), Tsui practices with the Law Office of Biann-Sheng Tsui at 1021 NE Sixty-Eighth Street in Seattle, Washington.
