Attorney Larry Landry of Seattle; ethical gremlin The state of Washington presented Larry James Landry with a law license in 1987.
The Washington State Bar found Larry guilty of the following misconduct.
In one matter, Larry found it acceptable to settle a potential legal malpractice claim regarding his negligence with an unrepresented client without ever advising the client to seek advice from another attorney.
In addition, Larry conditioned the malpractice settlement on the client’s withdrawal of a disciplinary grievance.
As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Washington Supreme Court punished Larry by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.
As we speak (ca. August 2013), Larry practices at 1404 East Yesler Way in Seattle, Washington.
