Attorney Gary Greenbaum of Seattle, WA; slacker, loser

The State of Washington presented Gary I. Greenbaum with a law license in 1977 after he graduated from Seattle University School of Law.

The Washington State Bar found Gary guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

  • Failed to communicate with his client
  • Failed act with due diligence (slacker)
  • Willfully disobeyed a court order (Up yours, said Gary!)
  • Failed to pursue client claims which led to dismissal of the claims and award of attorney fees against the client and Gary
  • Garypromised his client he would pay the court-ordered fees, but failed to so act
  • Failed to keep client informed of status of matter
  • Failed to expedite client litigation
  • Made false or misleading communications about his legal services
  • Failed to withdraw client representation when mandated to so act
  • Failed to abide by a client's decisions concerning the objectives of representation

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Washington Supreme Court punished Gary by gifting him with a complimentary 2-year suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. August 2023), Gary practices his so-called brand of law at 506 Second Avenue in Seattle, Washington.
