Attorney George Kolin of Washougal, WA; moronic cheater

The state of Washington presented George A. Kolin with a law license in 1993 after he graduated from Gonzaga University School of Law.

The Washington State Bar found Georgie guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Charged and/or collected an unreasonable fee (cheater)
  • Failed to abide by client’s decisions re: objectives of the client
  • Failed to provide competent representation (moron)
  • Hearing office ruled that the reasonable value of Georgie’s work was $1,000 and not the $6,000 he charged the client
  • Failed to advise client it was unlikely prosecutor would agree to reduce two felony charges to misdemeanors prior to writing a letter to the prosecutor and overbilling him $6,000 for his ignorant advice

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Washington Supreme Court punished Georgie by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. March 2019), Georgie practices in Washougal, Washington.
