Attorney Michael Pratum of Auburn, WA; lying loser

The state of Washington presented Michael James Pratum with a law license in 1986 after he graduated from Gonzaga University School of Law.

The Washington State Bar found Mikey guilty of the following misconduct.

• Disclosed client confidences
• Failed to avoid conflicts of interest
• Made misrepresentations [lied] to a trial court
• Improperly split fees with non-lawyer
• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
• Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation
• Entered into illegal agreement to pay a client for referrals of prospective clients

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Washington Supreme Court punished Mikey by gifting him with a complimentary 2-year suspension of his law license.
