Attorney John Meader of Camas, WA; ethical goblin

The state of Washington presented John L. Meader with a law license in 1984 after he graduated from the Lewis & Clark Law School.

The Washington State Bar Association found Johnny guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Engaged in a conflict of interest
  • Failed to act fairly with opposing party and counsel
  • Failed to respect the rights of third persons
  • Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
  • Improperly filed liens against client’s real property, against the clients and their spouses and various third persons to secure payment of claimed attorney fees
  • Violated Superior Court order prohibiting encumbrance of a client’s property
  • Placing liens on client property impeded dissolution proceedings
  • Knowingly disobeying an obligation under the rules of a tribunal
  • During the course of representing a client Johnny used various means that had no substantial purpose other than to embarrass, delay, or burden a third person

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Washington Supreme Court punished Andy by gifting him with a complimentary 6-month suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. June 2018), Johnny practices at 19215 SE 34th Street in Camas, Washington.
