Attorney James Kovac of Bellevue, WA; cheating loser  

The state of Washington presented James W. Kovac with a law license in 1981 after he graduated from Santa Clara University Law School.

The Washington State Bar found Jimmy guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker) 
• Failed to communicate with client
• Failed to protect client interests after withdrawal of representation
• Charged unreasonable fees (cheater)
• Failed to keep client informed of status of legal matter
• Failed to comply with client requests for information
• Failed to explain matter to extent necessary to permit client to make informed decisions regarding representation

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Washington State Supreme Court punished Jimmy by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.
